Mysuru,February 1, 2019: Reinforcing its commitment towards the holistic development of society, Mysuru Warriors, the KPL team owned by NR Group in association with Kalisu Foundation built their sixthJnanalayain Mysuru’s HUDCO BannimantapSchool which was inauguratedtoday.Kalisu Foundation arethe Cause Partners of Mysuru Warriors from KPL 2015.

Kalisu Foundation along with Mysuru Warriors team has played a pivotal role in conceptualizing this Jnanalaya. The newest addition to the school was inaugurated by His Highness Yaduveer Kishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar along with Mr. Pavan Ranga, Owner, Mysuru Warriors & Partner, NR Group and Mr. Nikhilesh M M, CEO, Kalisu Foundation and was handed over to Mrs. Sharada K.R, Headmistressand the school authorities in the gracious presence of Mr. Uday Kumar, BEO.

The HUDCO Bannimantap School Jnanalaya, has an extensive variety of books, ranging from a plethora of different subjects. The HUDCO Bannimantap School is the 6^thGovernment school to receive a Jnanalayafrom Mysuru Warriors. The Mysuru warriors are strong symbols for societal change across Mysuru.

His Highness Yaduveer Kishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar commented on the occasion – “Mysuru Warriors, and the NR Group have always given back to society with their initiatives across Mysuru. This is the 6^thJnanalayaMysuru Warriors has built for government schools, and we’re indebted to them for their efforts at making Mysuru a better place. I congratulate Mysuru Warriors and Kalisu Foundation for providing the students with this amenity.”

Commenting on the initiative Mr. Pavan Ranga, Owner, Mysuru Warriors & Partner, NR Group said “We at NR Group believe that education is the core for growth and development of the society hence, we largely support the initiatives that encourage knowledge and learning. We are glad to be a catalyst in bringing about a change in the lives of the children and thereby build a strong future for our country.”

The initiative will provide students easy access to a huge quantum of knowledge and will allow them to use this knowledge to complement their school syllabus, homework, project work and extra-curricular activities. This initiative hopes to instill in the students the habit of leisure reading and will provide the students with quality content as well. Students may use this Jnanalaya as a study space as well.

In 2018, Mysuru Warriors announced association with 4 cause partners and also handed over a cheque of Rs. 1,00,000/- to each cause partner.   For the first time Mysuru Warriors associated with Reforest India, who will be using the amount in plantation of trees in various regions.  All the other 3 cause partners are associated with Mysuru Warriors from past 4 year.  Mysuru Warriors has built 6 Jnanalaya’s in association with Kalisu Foundation in these 4 years, amongst which one is a Mysuru’s first comprehensive science lab “Vesto Pro Science Lab” at the Kuvempunagar Government School.  Usha Kiran Eye Hospital has treated 40 girl children with birth disabilities like squint eyes and Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe have treated nearly 40 children with cleft lip using the support extended by Mysuru Warriors.

Mysuru Warriors, during the KPL had extended its backing to the empowerment initiatives of Kalisu Foundation. Kalisu foundation is a volunteer driven organization that provides high quality education to children studying in government school coming from low-income background, enabling them to maximize their potential and transforming their lives.

A believer of sustainable and holistic growth, NR Group has initiated many activities to contribute for the betterment of the society. This passion to give back to the society has resulted in NR Group initiating an array of activities to help and support the underprivileged section of the society.
