Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD) celebrated International Women’s day and senior students conference on 8th March 2022 at the school campus. The event was graced by Mrs. Geetha Latha, Training Advisor, AGEE’s English Learning Academy, and Rachna Varsha, Drummer and Rhythm Player as a chief guest at the event along with Mrs. Radha K, Senior Staff from Cycle Pure Agarbathi.
Mrs. Geetha Latha, Training Advisor, AGEE’s English Learning Academy is a Dynamic, resourceful, and a professional facilitator with passionate interest in cognitive and social growth of participants. On the other hand, Ms. Rachna Varsha, Drummer and Rhythm Player has successfully completed 8 grades in drumming and have been recognized as ‘First Girl In Mysore’ to be certified from ‘Trinity College Of London’ with Distinction and Merits. She has also received 3 prestigious award such as ‘Yuvashree Award’, ‘Young Achiever of the Year-2018’, and ‘Daughter of the Year-2019’.
The welcome speech was done by Nagamani R. and Ms. Rachna blindfolded herself and played the drum for the students and the teachers for their entertainment. She blindfolded herself to make students understand that this can be a great opportunity which is open to all. Ms. Rachna and Mrs. Geetha Latha were invited and introduced to the students to showcase and represent women’s power in different aspects to inspire the students and make them understand that the opportunity is open for everyone.
Speaking about the celebration, Mrs. Radha K, Senior Staff Member from Cycle Pure Agarbathi, expresses, ‘We are obliged to celebrate this amazing day with the students here at RMSD. This day reminds all of us to celebrate who we are and all the amazing things we can achieve if we support each other.
The event was held to honor the women workforce at the school. The school also motivates disabled women to live life with dignity and enables them to be self-reliant.
